Callum Brittain played 69 minutes in England Under-20s’ 3-0 victory over Portugal at Manchester City’s Academy Stadium.
The MK Dons starlet impressed in Tuesday’s fixture, helping the Young Lions make it two wins from two this international break.
Goals from Chris Willock and Keinan Davis saw England lead 2-0 at the break with Easah Suliman adding a third in the second half.
Keith Downing’s side beat Poland 1-0 last week thanks to a late goal from Davis. Brittain played the final 20 minutes of that match in Bielsku-Bialej.
Brittain, who now has five international caps to his name, will now return to Stadium MK and re-join the Dons squad ahead of Thursday’s Sky Bet League One clash with Gillingham.
