Karl Robinson believes his side didn’t deserve to lose their clash with Peterborough United at London Road.
Although disappointed with the goals conceded, Robinson was still pleased with his side’s performance, which he believes warranted at least a point.
Speaking to MK Dons Player, he said: “I didn’t think we deserved to lose. The first goal was against the run of play and also took a deflection while the third goal was an obvious error. I thought we looked very dominant in the game and had the better, more clear-cut chances against a good Peterborough side.
“The players have got confidence in their own ability. They’re a very determined group and they’ll never lie down. A lot of teams would have sunk after going 3-1 down but that’s not the way we are. They still remained on the front foot and tried to get something out of the game.
“The goals we conceded were sloppy. We’ve now conceded five goals in our last two league games and it can’t keep going on like that. The back four look very strong but it’s just a case of people switching off at the wrong times.
“We do look strong on the front foot and we look like we can get something out of every game so although there are negatives, there are positives too. We’ve got to take the positives out of it, reflect on the negatives and move on.”
Next up for Robinson's side is a trip to Chesterfield on Tuesday evening. Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £13 for over-65s and under-18s and £9 for under-9s and are available to buy from the Box Office and on the night at Proact Stadium.
