Excitement – that’s what new signing Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is hoping to bring during his time at stadiummk.
“I’m looking forward to playing some good football,” Emmanuel-Thomas told MK Dons PlayerHD. “The Dons want to stay in the Championship and I’m here to help provide enough ammunition to make that possible.
“I had two good seasons at Bristol City, doing the double in the second season, but it didn’t really go to plan at QPR. That’s football and I’m here for the season now so my focus is on helping the Dons.”
“It was probably my best goal of the season so far and I’ll be looking to replicate that against many other teams from now until the end of the season.”
Emmanuel-Thomas has scored five goals so far in 2015/16, including a stunning solo goal against the Dons when they visited Loftus Road back in September.
He continued: “I’m here to bring excitement. I like to take players on, score goals and keep people entertained. I’ve seen the Dons’ style of play and it’s an entertaining one so I’m here to add to that and bring as much as I can to the table.”
