Robbie Neilson added firepower to his squad this summer in the form of striker Ryan Seager.
The Southampton loanee has scored 28 times in 57 appearances for the Saints in Premier League 2, including four in just nine outings last season after recovering from injury.
This stint at Stadium MK is Seager’s second loan spell after a short period with Crewe Alexandra at the start of 2016, during which time he scored his first professional goal against Rochdale.
Preceding that, in 2014/15, his impressive performances for the Saints’ youth sides were rewarded with a first-team debut against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and his Premier League debut against Swansea City.
Ironically, it was against Swansea City that Seager netted his first goal for MK Dons. That strike which was followed up by a dramatic late winner in the 3-2 victory over Rochdale at Stadium MK – the same side that his first league goal came against during his time with Crewe.
