Osman Sow was a target for Robbie Neilson ever since his appointment at Stadium MK and the Dons boss finally got his man in mid-August 2017.

The pair worked together at Heart of Midlothian, where Sow scored 23 goals and provided 12 assists in 52 appearances, helping Hearts win the Scottish Championship title.

The Swedish-born forward spent time at FoC Farsta, AFC Eskilstuna and Syrianska FC as a youngster as well as enjoying a spell in Moldova with top-division outfit FC Dacia Chisinau.

In 2013, he made a move to the UK in 2013, signing for Crystal Palace before joining Hearts ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

A move to China and Super League outfit Henan Jianye followed his impressive stint in Scotland but he ended his stay in China by mutual termination this summer, ahead of his switch to Stadium MK.
