Scott Wootton looks set to bounce back in 2017/18 after injury disrupted his first season at Stadium MK.
The centre-back signed a two-year deal with the Club last summer after leaving Sky Bet Championship outfit Leeds United but suffered a serious knee injury in August – an injury which kept him sidelined for the entire campaign.
The defender, who spent time with Tranmere Rovers and Liverpool as a youngster, started his professional career with Manchester United. He made four appearances for the Red Devils, including two in the UEFA Champions League.
Wootton, who enjoyed loan spells at Tranmere Rovers, Peterborough United and Nottingham Forest during his time at Old Trafford, joined Leeds United in August 2014 for an undisclosed fee.
He went on to play 80 times for the Whites before departing in the summer of 2016 and moving to Stadium MK.
