Scott Golbourne made a Deadline Day loan switch to MK Dons in a bid to get back to playing regular football.
The experienced left-back saw opportunities limited at parent club Bristol City but will hope to get minutes under his belt during his six months at Stadium MK and help Robbie Neilson’s men climb the table.
Golbourne began his career with the Robins but in January 2006 he opted to leave Ashton Gate to sign for Championship outfit Reading. During his time at the Madejski Stadium, he enjoyed loan spells at Wycombe Wanderers, AFC Bournemouth and Oldham Athletic.
He left the Madejski Stadium to sign for Exeter City and after he made 121 appearances for the Grecians he returned to the Championship with Barnsley.
His form for the Tykes presented him with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers and with the Molineux club he earned himself a Sky Bet League One winner’s medal. He finished with 92 appearances to his name for Wolves before moving back to Ashton Gate in January 2016.
