Graham Alexander added three players to his MK Dons squad on Deadline Day, including two deals late in the night.

Joe Tomlinson completed a move from Peterborough United early on Friday before Ellis Harrison and Anthony Stewart sealed switches to Stadium MK, the former on a permanent move from Port Vale and the latter returning to the Club on loan from Aberdeen.

On the signing of Tomlinson, Alexander said: "We’re delighted to bring Joe in - he is a great addition for us.

“We like Joe’s versality, his professionalism and his attributes - he is going to bring a lot of competition to the squad. Speaking to him, you can feel the enthusiasm that he has to come here and be successful here at MK Dons.”

On the late arrivals of Harrison and Stewart, the Head Coach added: “It’s a great bit of business to bring in two players with great qualities and experience.

"Ellis brings a powerful presence to our front line, he can score goals and press with real energy. Everyone I’ve spoke to has highlighted his character which I know will fit in well with our group.

"Anthony is already known to our fans but was unfortunate to get injured early in his last spell. He’s a player I’ve admired for a long time and will give us real competition in our back line.

"They are both highly motivated to help us continue our good form. I’m delighted they’ve come on board and look forward to working with them”
