MK Dons Under-18s prepare to travel to Bristol City for their upcoming Premier Development League Cup fixture.
The Premier Development League Cup competition holds a total of 28 teams altogether, which are split into seven groups of four at the start of the tournament.
A group-stage format takes place before the elimination rounds, the top two teams from each group will progress into the knockout stages whilst both sides at the bottom of each group stage table will be removed from the contest.
MK Dons Under-18s secured their spot within the Premier Development League Cup after their EFL Youth Alliance Cup success at Stadium MK last season.
The young Dons made their mark as the team who lifted the trophy for the first time within the Club’s history.
With the experience of their first fixture within the elite tournament against Oxford United, John Bitting’s boys suffered a 2-0 defeat. A result which they will look to rectify in their upcoming second game of the tournament.
