Milton Keynes Dons is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former official club photographer Phil Smith.
Battling ill health for several years, Phil sadly passed away at his home on Saturday. He is survived by two brothers, a sister and his mother.
Phil, who previously worked as chief photographer at The Sporting Life and Wimbledon FC, has been with MK Dons since the very beginning, providing an experienced and supportive voice to the Club’s media and communications department, alongside his work with matchday programme and Club photography.
His iconic photos, capturing some of MK Dons’ biggest and best moments, will ensure he has long-lasting legacy at Stadium MK. He will be sorely missed by us all.
