MK Dons defender Jack Davies helps to create Oxford City history as he supported the side in their 2022/23 season, which resulted in a play-off promotion to the Vanarama National League.

The Hoops are set to compete within the National League for the first time in their club’s history following the success within the play-off tournament, which promoted them out of the National League South division.
Davies supported City’s backline throughout the season, the centre-half amounted a total of 13 appearances whilst scoring his first and only goal during his loan stint within the club.
The young defender also appeared in the semi-final play-off fixture, he helped to sustain a clean sheet during the closing stages of clash within a 2-0 victory, which ensured Oxford’s progression to the final.

Although their fate for next season relied on one game, Oxford City managed to secure their promotion with an emphatic 4-0 victory over St Albans.
An electric start from the home side allowed them to quickly get on top of the Saints, which in turn saw the deadlock broken just three minutes following the starting whistle.
The action didn’t subside there as the Hoops double their advantage just ten minutes after the opener. A two-goal lead increased to three just ahead of the 30-minute mark before City then claimed a fourth moments before the interval.
The 4-0 score-line remained the same throughout the second 45-minute stage. Thus, Oxford City had made club history with a well-earned promotion to the Vanarama National League, a division that the Hoops will compete within for the first-time next season.
