Padbury Village FC join us this weekend as they 'takeover' Stadium MK.
Pre-match, a selection of players will be welcoming the Dons and Morecambe on to the pitch by waving flags while, at half time, further members of the Club will be paraded around the pitch to celebrate their achievements so far this season.
Padbury Village Football Club (PVFC) are an FA Accredited Club based in the village of Padbury, North Buckinghamshire. Padbury has a long history of football teams linked to the village, though after several decades of this being focused only on adult football, it was expanded in 2015 to rekindle opportunities for youth football.
The Club has grown to approximately 90 children enjoying playing football including: Mini Kickers U6s; Pumas U7s; Panthers U8s; Falcons U9s; Cougars U11s; Raptors U13s and Rovers U18s.
PVFC are members of the Milton Keynes District Development League (MKDDL), playing matches on Saturday mornings. Training is mid-week in Buckingham, with home matches taking place at Padbury Recreation Ground, Springfield, Padbury, MK18 2AT.
The Club are supported by an array of volunteer committee members, managers, coaches, groundsman, tuck shop attendants and other match day volunteers.
To continue the development of PVFC, they would particularly like to develop opportunities for girls. With greater interest and support, PVFC would like to expand to offer opportunities to play within both mixed and girls only teams.
Anybody interested in playing, volunteering, or sponsoring PVFC should contact Mike Marshall, PVFC Director of Football at Mikey.firstname.lastname@example.org or Peter McHenry, Chairman at email@example.com. Their website is www.pvfc.org.uk.
