John Bitting’s boys suffered a 3-1 loss in their travel to face Bristol Rovers within the Dons’ first EFL Youth Alliance Merit League Two match.
Following multiple rescheduled fixtures, due to weather conditions resulting in an unplayable surface, MK Dons faced their first test within the Merit League Two division in the previous weekend of fixtures.
Bristol Rovers, like many other clubs within the league, had previously played prior to Saturday. The Gas claimed victory in their third league game, whereas Callum Tripp’s goal couldn’t save the travelling team, who faced a 3-1 disappointment in their first fixture.
