Three of the young Dons were included within mid-week action, all three of which contributed to claim a point in their respective fixtures.

Tommy Blennerhassett secured back-to-back draws for Potton United as the striker’s late equaliser secured a position within the top ten of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division league table.

Blennerhassett has achieved his third goal within seven appearances since joining Potton late last month.

Joel Anker and Charlie Waller were both named within the starting line-up as AFC Rushden & Diamonds earned their first result within the previous ten matches played.

A difficult season for the Diamonds has seen them place bottom of the Southern Central Premier Division league table. However, the team’s dismay wouldn’t keep them down as young Dons duo help to claim a point against twelfth-place Bromsgrove Sporting.

The strong performances displayed from Anker and Waller supported the Diamonds, whose early penalty ultimately earned them a point on the road.
