Joel Anker and Charlie Waller start as they support AFC Rushden & Diamonds to claim a point at Hayden Road - Dan Kemp helps Hartlepool to another important draw within their relegation fight and Tommy Blennerhassett scores in Lancing debut.

Joel Anker, supported by his fellow Under-18s teammate Charlie Waller, helped to secure a point for AFC Rushden & Diamonds in their league clash versus Leiston.

The Diamonds still remain at the bottom of the Southern Central Premier Division league table, but they will desire to build on their back-to-back draws as they look to progress forward.

Hartlepool United equalised in the 81 minute to cancel out Paul Smyth’s opener for Leyton Orient, which occurred minutes after the interval.

Dan Kemp started as the Pools earned another hard-fought point. As a result, the gap to safety is now five points with seven matches left to play.

Following his recent move from Potton United to Lancing, Tommy Blennerhassett took full opportunity of his first fixture within the Southeast Division of the Isthmian League.

The young forward scored on his full debut to secure a 3-0 win with the Lancers as he was introduced into the staring XI just two days after signing work experience terms with the club.

Matt Dennis wasn’t selected within Sutton United’s squad to face Mansfield Town, the Sky Bet League Two fixture concluded as a goalless draw.

Bedford Town substituted Edward Gyamfi onto the field six minutes after the restart. However, the young Dons midfielder couldn’t prevent a 2-0 defeat on the road to Alvechurch. Dani Lucas awaits his Bedford debut.

Jack Davies played a full 90-minute match in the previous weekend of fixtures as Oxford City saw out a 2-2 draw in the result of their away battle.

Davies’ support during this game was crucial to ensure that the Hoops currently sustain their third-place position within the Vanarama National League South table.

Liam Mann was not included within Tring Athletic’s squad, who claimed a 2-1 victory over Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.
