A number of MK Dons’ young loanees were in midweek action for their respective loan clubs, including scholar Tommy Blennerhassett, who scored twice to help Potton United to victory.

Blennerhassett, making his home debut for the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side, bagged a brace to fire the Royals to a 2-1 victory over Leverstock Green. He played 80 minutes in the win.

Next up for the striker, is a home fixture with Aylesbury Vale Dynamos this weekend.

Meanwhile, fellow second-year apprentice Liam Mann made his first appearance for Tring Athletic in their 3-2 defeat to St Panteleimon. Mann started the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division fixture, which saw Tring almost pull off a dramatic comeback.

Mann will be looking to start again on Saturday when Tring Athletic take on Shefford Town & Campton.

In the National League, Brooklyn Ilunga made his ninth appearance for Wealdstone as they were beaten 5-0 by Halifax Town. Ilunga, who played the full 90 minutes, will want to help the Stones bounce back at the weekend when they host Altrincham.

There was better success for Edward Gyamfi on Tuesday as he was involved in a 5-0 victory. The midfielder played 52 minutes in Bedford Town’s thrashing of Arlesey Town in the Beds FA Senior Cup Quarter Finals. Gyamfi & Co return to Southern League Premier Central action on Saturday as they travel to Coalville Town.
