MK Dons Sport and Education Trust recently ran a knife crime awareness event for offenders at HMP Springhill.
The knife crime awareness event, attended by over 40 offenders, was then followed by a five-a-side football tournament, organised by the gym officers.
Each offender that took part in the event donated towards Bleed Kits - these kits, which will be found at local sports centres and clubs, shopping parades and community buildings, contain lifesaving equipment to administer basic first aid. In total, the establishment kindly raised £400!
What’s more, MK Dons SET have also completed a second FA Level One qualification course within HMP Springhill, having done their first earlier this year.
