MK Dons Women claim a 6-0 victory in their first pre-season fixture against Notts County, courtesy of goals scored from Tricia Gould, Amy McLean and Renai Bennett.

Charlie Bill’s team began their 2023/24 season preparations in a perfect fashion following a triumphant victory on the road. The Women’s National League Division One side hosted the clash, which saw the Dons emerge victorious at the RM Stadium.
 
This fixture was played at 30-minute intervals with short breaks during each stoppage.
 
30 MINUTES
Within the opening half hour, the travelling team took a 2-0 lead through successive strikes from Tricia Gould, who was accurate enough with both attempts to claim an early brace.
 
Prior to being subbed off in place of a new starting XI for the second half of action, Gould extended the advantage whilst she attained her hat-trick within 45 minutes of being on the field.
 
60 MINUTES

During the second stage of play, MK Dons Women added to their three-goal advantage, which buried Notts County under a five-goal deficit. Both goals were scored by Amy McLean, who achieved a brace not long after she entered the pitch.
 
Although the Dons held a significant advantage, the winning side didn’t want to stop there. They continued to make the most of their first game back.
 
90 MINUTES

The final 30 minutes of action occurred as a goal from Renai Bennet rounded off the scoring for the opening pre-season fixture. MK Dons had conjured a triumphant 6-0 score-line.
 
A brilliant return to action for Charlie Bill’s Women, who will now set their focus on London Bees for their fixture at The Hive Stadium prior to MK Dons’ first-team clash against Barnet.
