Over 26,000 spectators turned out to watch England Women in action at Stadium MK, in their final match before the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Lionesses, who will soon fly out to Australia for the summer tournament which begins on 20 July, played out a goalless draw with Portugal at the home of MK Dons, with a crowd of 26,267 watching on.
Rachel Daly and Alessia Russo had the better of the chances for Sarina Wiegman’s side, who were unable to break down Portugal – another team who will compete at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
