Ethan Robson says the MK Dons squad are looking forward to playing in front of the home supporters once again, as they get set for their Stadium MK return this week.
The Dons face Coventry City and Northampton Town over the next five days as preparations for the 2023/24 campaign enters its final week.
Looking ahead to the matches at Stadium MK, Robson told iFollow MK Dons: “Having the fans there will be great.
“We'll need their support next season off the back of a tough year for everyone. We need them on our side, and I hope we can show we will play good football and show them we're going to be good this season.
“We all know last season wasn't great, but there are no hangovers, we've got to look forward. It's a new season, with new players, and there's no reason why this year can't be a good.”
Robson was speaking to iFollow MK Dons during the Club’s pre-season training camp in Germany. Reflecting on the trip, the midfielder said: “We've had some tough days, but we're all focussed and we're already seeing the benefits.
“It's tough getting up early and running, but that's part of pre-season. Everyone is in it together, the staff are up running with us as well – it’s all team bonding.
“There are things we still need to work on, but we'll get there. There are positive signs in training, and I'm sure in the next few games, we'll show what we can do.”
