Dennis made his debut appearance for Sutton United, Sandford reaches a senior career milestone, Ilunga made his first full debut, Young Dons duo named in the squad and Gyamfi made his tenth competitive appearance.
Matt Dennis was recently loaned out to Sutton United on the 27 January, a day later he made his debut for the U’s as he was substituted on in the 66 minute.
Dennis, who has made 27 appearances for MK Dons this season, will see out the rest of his campaign at Gander Green Lane. The young forward saw his first appearance for Sutton end in a 1-0 victory over Harrogate Town.
Sandford has maintained a spot within the starting XI since joining the Blues and managed to sustain a clean sheet against Dunstable in the previous weekend of fixtures, which resulted in a 0-0 draw at the end of 90 minutes played.
Although previously the young defender has appeared for Wealdstone off the bench in a 3-1 victory, Brooklyn Ilunga made his full debut at Grosvenor Vale against Gateshead.
The number 21 battled for a total of 78 minutes and a 1-1 score-line was produced at the time he was taken off the field. Ilunga can now chalk off his first-ever Vanarama National League full debut.
Joel Anker was named in the starting XI whilst also being hailed as the Player of the Match for their fixture against Stratford Town. Anker made his full debut, as well as his first appearance at the beginning of his Diamonds campaign, who compete at Step 6 within the English Football Non-League system.
Charlie Waller, fellow young Don alongside Anker, was also named in the squad for Rushden & Diamonds in the previous weekend of fixtures. However, the young defender remained on the bench for the duration of the match.
Edward ‘Junior’ Gyamfi recently made his tenth appearance for Bedford Town within all competitions. Previously, the Eagles faced Hitchin Town, which resulted in a goalless draw on the road.
A point achieved in two consecutive games has currently placed Bedford at 16 within the Southern League Premier Division Central table.
Jack Davies didn’t participate in Oxford City’s victory over Weymouth due to injury.
