Report: MK Dons Under-18s 1-2 Brentford

Young Dons still search for league victory…

7 February 2023

MK Dons Under-18s suffer their sixth straight league defeat against Brentford at home.

John Bitting’s boys have yet to discover a result in their previous six league matches. However, during their league winless run, MK Dons have managed to claim victory over Cambridge United within the EFL Youth Alliance League Cup Regional Final.

Their 3-1 victory over the U’s placed the Dons in the national final of the cup competition. Although, due to their poor league form, the Dons have now dropped to sixth within the EFL Youth Alliance Group C League table.

Joshua Adepoju’s goal in the 26 minute wasn’t enough to claim a result within a narrow 2-1 defeat against the Bees.

John Bitting’s boys now prepare for their next test against AFC Wimbledon at home, in the hope to put an end to their recent disappointments.

MK Dons: Stacey (Adaw 50), Scholtz, Boyce (Lucas 61), Stirland, Sinclair-Linton (Mann 61), Wood, Daffern, Tripp, Adepoju, Belnnerhassett (Clark-Anderson 71), Olaleye (Guzynski 71)

Goals: Adepoju 26
