Loan round-up: Debut victory for Kemp

Daniel Kemp claimed victory in his first match for Hartlepool, Matt Dennis made his first appearance at the Gander Green Lane, Brooklyn Ilunga’s assist helped to secure a Wealdstone win.

Dan Kemp made his first appearance, as well as his full debut for Hartlepool United in their Sky Bet League Two clash against Doncaster Rovers. Kemp’s ‘liveliness’ helped the Pool to secure all three points with a winning goal produced by Daniel Dodds in the 88 minute of the fixture.

The winger provided many crosses into the danger area, and he also seemed a handful for the Rovers defence, which saw Ro-Shaun Williams booked for a challenge on the MK Dons loanee early on in the fixture. This result has helped place Hartlepool 22, above the relegation zone.

Matt Dennis took to the field on the 70-minute mark in Sutton United’s League Two clash against Stevenage. This was the young forward’s second appearance for the U’s. However, it was his first runout at the Gander Green Lane.

The fixture concluded 0-0 and the points were shared between the two sides. Sutton are currently two points off a play-off placement.

An assist from Brooklyn Ilunga in his fourth consecutive start, helped to secure a 1-0 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge. The three points earned, meant that Wealdstone replaced their opponent within the top ten teams of the Vanarama National League.

Ilunga also featured in mid-week action, which ended in a 0-0 draw. This meant that the number 21 provided his first goal contribution in his fifth start for the Stones.

Edward Gyamfi had a second-half cameo in a narrow 4-3 defeat to Leiston. Although he wasn’t named within the starting XI, Junior’s impact helped Bedford Town to equalise the game at 3-3.

The young MK Dons loanee nears his tenth start for the Eagles, who currently occupy 16 within the Southern League Premier Division Central table.

Ronnie Sandford missed out on Hertford’s recent match due to an injury.

Jack Davies couldn’t participate in Oxford City’s previous game as he served a suspension.

MK Dons scholars Joel Anker and Charlie Waller were both named in the starting XI for AFC Rushden & Diamond’s Southern League Premier Division Central fixture against Coalville Town.

The Diamonds suffered a 3-0 defeat, but Waller earned his first-ever senior loan full debut and Anker was rewarded with back-to-back starts.
