MK Dons Men’s Team, Women’s Team and Academy were all involved in this year’s Christmas visit to Milton Keynes Hospital as the Club donated toys to the patients, gifts to the nurses and sensory items for the Ward itself.
The money used to purchase the presents was raised by donations from the First Team players, as well as a fundraiser hosted by the MK Dons Academy, which saw an overwhelming total of £800 raised by the young Dons.
During the visit, the players from all areas of the Club interacted with the patients in the Children’s Ward whilst delivering a variety of gifts to each individual.
The Club would like to share their gratitude to Technical Partner Castore, who supplied each child with an MK Dons themed teddy bear. As well as Milton Keynes Hospital for their help in spreading the festive cheer throughout the Ward.
Dean Lewington Alex Gilbey, Max Dean and Cameron Norman represented the Men’s team. Isaac Olaleye and Chase Medwynter were the representatives on behalf of the Academy whilst Rhianne Rush appeared for Women’s side.
