MK Dons Women welcome former Oxford United defender Catherine Beaver to their squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Catherine Beaver, who played within the FA Women’s Premier League between 2004-2007, transferred to Milton Keynes following Oxford United’s top three finish last season.
Beaver is a ‘Natural Leader’ as described by Charlie Bill. When questioned on the transfer of the defender, he said “From moment one she has shown how she can lead this young group, but also drive the standards forward.
“She’s a defender who prides herself on her defensive actions, and she’s experienced high-performing environments. That experience can be a help to drive this club forward.”
When asked about her move, Catherine replied “It’s a club with great facilities and it has all the tools to move forward in the direction which the Manager and the club aspire to.
“I’m excited to meet all my new teammates and now it’s about focusing on pre-season so we can get ourselves fit and ready for what’s ahead.”
