City Colts FC join us this Tuesday evening as they 'takeover' Stadium MK.
Pre-match, a selection of players will be welcoming the Dons and Charlton Athletic on to the pitch by waving flags while, at half time, further members of the Club will be paraded around the pitch to celebrate their achievements so far this season.
City Colts are a local club based in Milton Keynes, though Colts have had several different home grounds over the years. Established in 1998, the Club this year will be celebrating a milestone - its 25th anniversary!
Throughout the 25 years, the ethos of City Colts has always remained the sam - football for all. The club looks to provide opportunities for everyone in the community to play football due to the dedication of many Club coaches, committee members and volunteers.
This dedication has resulted in the development and mentoring of thousands of players over the past 25 years. City Colts are proud to have produced some outstanding players; some of whom have made the transition to academy football and in some cases, even progressed to play at a much higher level of football.
MK Dons Academy graduate, former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and England international, Dele Alli, came through the ranks at City Colts. The Club’s history is not just in developing players, City Colts have held many successful tournaments over the years, attracting teams from both near and far to compete here in Milton Keynes.
The club’s vision is to grow in size, developing stronger community roots and to provide inclusive grassroots football opportunities for future generations to come.
