John Bitting’s boys earn six points within a week following their back-to-back success against Brentford and Forest Green Rovers.
The young Dons travelled to Gloucestershire shortly after their 5-2 victory over the Bees on Wednesday afternoon. John Bitting and his side looked to build on their first Merit League Two win as they prepared to face the team placed above them within the table.
The desire to increase their winning ways was fulfilled by the young Dons following a 3-1 triumph over Forest Green. Three goals scored by Tommy Blennerhassett, Edwin Daffern and Joshua Adepoju secured three points within their league skirmish.
Back-to-back victories for the young Dons have now placed them sixth, above their recent opponents. A third consecutive win over their next adversary Southend United could see John Bitting’s ascend to fourth.
