MK Dons host the Tractor Girls at Stadium MK…

14 April 2023

Charlie Bill’s Women search for three consecutive home victories as they welcome the current third-place team to Stadium MK for a FAWNL Southern Premier Division clash.

Sunday’s opponents have battled at the top-end of the league table for the majority of the season, they will look to reinstate their position in first as we enter the final three fixtures.

Once placed at the peak of the league table, the travelling team now find themselves two points adrift. Currently separated by Watford and Oxford United, this triplet of teams all seek promotion with little time remaining.

MK Dons will have desires of their own to grab three points, which will ensure their placement within the top five of the league whilst fending off Gillingham, who currently chase with one point behind.

This fixture will take place at Stadium MK, Milton Keynes, Stadium Way, MK1 1ST. Tickets will cost £5 adults and £3 Under-18s. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00pm.

THE OPPOSITION
There's plenty of motivation for Ipswich Town as they continue their push for promotion. An impressive 44 points gained from 14 wins and two draws puts them level with Watford. However, the Hornet’s greater goal difference earns them the top two spot.

With their aspirations set on the Women’s Championship, the visitors will be determined to retrieve the spoils from Sunday’s clash. Although, the Tractor Girls will have to be mindful of Portsmouth, who are also within the chase and could push Ipswich just one place above MK Dons.

LAST TIME OUT

MK Dons saw back-to-back Stadium MK Success in their recent league clash against Plymouth Argyle. Facing Bridgwater a week prior saw the Dons prevail from against two relegation candidates, but Sunday will prove an opposite test for the home side.

Tricia Gould, Mollie Coupar and Laura Mitchell all placed their names on the scoresheet to secure a 3-1 win over Plymouth. This trio had also been the goal scorers of the previous success over Bridgwater and could be ones to watch for Sunday’s tie.
