MK Dons suffered defeat on the road after they narrowly lost their FAWNL Southern Premier Division fixture to Billericay Town.
Charlie Bill’s Women started strong with a lively display within the first ten minutes of the match, but soon after Billericay scored the opener on the 14-minute mark.
MK Dons attempted to grab an equaliser after going behind but to their dismay, the home side doubled their lead. The Ricay continued their relentless pressure in the Dons’ final-third, until the whistle signalled for half-time.
Substitute Leoni Miceli, a player who graduated from the RTC (Regional Talent Club) into the MK Dons Women’s first team, scored her debut goal for the Dons and halved the deficit.
Unfortunately, Billericay maintained their strong defensive display and claimed all three points.
