Daniel Oyegoke scored his first international goal on Wednesday evening as he helped England Under-20s to victory over Chile at the Pinatar Arena.
Oyegoke, making his England Under-20s debut, weaved his way past a handful of Chilean defenders before curling a left-footed shot into the top corner of the net to give the Young Lions a two-goal lead in their Costa Cálida Supercup opener.
England Under-20s won the match 3-0, with Oyegoke completing 60 minutes before being replaced by West Bromwich Albion’s Ethan Ingram.
Oyegoke and England play their second Costa Cálida Supercup fixture on Saturday when they take on Morocco, kick-off 5pm.
Meanwhile, Matt Smith could be in line to make his 18th appearance for Wales tonight as they face Belgium at the King Baudoin Stadium in Brussels. The UEFA Nations League tie kicks off at 7.45pm and supporters can watch on Premier Sports 1.
