Dawson Devoy and Joshua Kayode have both been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for their upcoming UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualifying Play-Off with Israel.

Republic of Ireland will play Israel over two legs later this month, looking to secure their place in next summer’s tournament, set to be held in Romania and Georgia.

The first leg will take place at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin on Friday 23 September (KO 7pm) while the second leg will be four days later, on Tuesday 27 September, at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv (KO 6.15pm).

Devoy and Kayode are the second and third MK Dons players to receive international call-ups this window and, as a result, the Sky Bet League One fixture with Lincoln City will be postponed. Matt Smith was selected in the Wales squad on Wednesday.
