Dawson Devoy made his sixth appearance for Republic of Ireland Under-21s in their UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifying Play-Off First Leg with Israel.

Devoy replaced Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Joe Hodge with 17 minutes to play at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin, as Ireland came from behind to draw 1-1. MK Dons striker JJ Kayode was an unused substitute.

The crucial second leg takes place on Tuesday evening at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, kick-off 6.15pm BST.

Next up on the international front is a chance for Daniel Oyegoke and England Under-20s to make it two wins from two at the Costa Cálida Supercup. They face Morocco at the Pinatar Arena this evening, with kick-off set for 5pm.
