MK Dons midfielder, Dawson Devoy, was substituted on in the 60 minute, within the second leg play-off fixture against Israel Under-19s.
Ireland Under-21s faced Israel in a European Championship play-off, which was resulted over two legs.
The first leg finished as a 1-1 draw within the Tallaght Stadium, Devoy featured for the final 15 minutes of the match after he was brought on in place of Joe Hodge, who represents Wolves Under-21s.
The young Irishmen took his place on the field on the 60-minute mark, within the second leg of the play-off competition. Unfortunately, Dawson couldn’t craft an advantage in a goalless draw at the Tel Aviv Stadium. This resulted in a penalty-shootout, which saw Israel come out on-top (3-1).
This was the last fixture within the current international break for the collective MK Dons international players. Matt Smith, Daniel Oyegoke, Dawson Devoy and Joshua Kayode will all soon return to Stadium MK, to prepare for the Sky Bet League One clash against Peterborough United.
