MK Dons Under-18s remain second in the EFL Youth Alliance Group C table after suffering defeat against Luton Town.

First-Half
Luton Town dominated in the early stages of the game and reaped the rewards for their efforts. The Dons failed to react to the Hatter’s strong start, which allowed the home side to seize their opportunities in front of goal.

MK Dons’ slow start punished them, Luton pounced on their chances and collected four goals before the break.

Second-Half
Similar to the first 45 minutes of play, Luton Town seemed to be the stronger side. The hosts continued to build confidence and maintained their performance from the first-half, which allowed them to increase their lead minutes after the interval.

The Hatters enhanced their dominant display, which awarded them with a further three goals before the end of play.

John Bitting’s boys were handed an 8-0 defeat on the road. Although, the Dons position within the league table currently remains unchanged, as they hold a two-point lead over third place.

MK Dons: Stacey, Wood, Lucas (Boyce 45), Mann (Troso 67), Stirland (Scholtz 45), Waller, Tripp, Bombo, Blennerhassett, Daffern (Adepoju 45), Anker
