MK Dons welcomed special guests from Wixams Wanderers Avengers U8s to Stadium MK for Saturday’s Family Fun Day.

Wixams Wanderers U8s are a football team based in Bedfordshire who learned, earlier this year, that one of their players – Jasper – had been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Jasper is currently undergoing treatment and his football team have started a fundraising campaign in order to treat their teammate to a football-related day out when he is back up on his feet.

They are aiming to climb Everest using their stairs in their home, which works out at 58,070 combined starts – based on a set of 15 steps, that works out at 3,871 times up the stairs!

Jasper and the Wixam Wanderers attending Saturday’s Family Fun Day at Stadium MK and were treated to a visit from MK Dons midfielder Dawson Devoy, who signed autographs for the group and posed for pictures.
