Edward ‘Junior’ Gyamfi was awarded 'Man of the Match' on his debut start. Ronnie Sandford, Brooklyn Ilunga and Under-18s were all named in the squad within their respective teams.
Junior struck a youth work experience deal with Southern League Premier Division side, Bedford Town. This is Gyamfi’s first move during his time at MK Dons since he signed professional terms with the club during the summer.
The young Don received his debut start for Bedford in their league clash against Bromsgrove Sporting, the match resulted in a narrow 4-3 defeat, but Gyamfi’s impressive 90-minute display awarded him with a Man of the Match award in his debut for the Eagles.
Sandford now has over 15 appearances, as well as starts for the Blues, who are currently within three points of the top ten.
Brooklyn Ilunga represented Hemel Hempstead for 90 minutes in their National League South skirmish against Taunton Town.
Taunton recently suffered a 6-0 defeat to MK Dons in the Emirates FA Cup first-round proper. Ilunga gathered the same experience that Liam Manning’s men faced as he supported the Tudors to a 1-1 draw.
Concord Rangers compete within the National League South. Jack Davies has amounted over ten appearances, as well as starts for the Beach Boys throughout his two spells with the club. Although, the young defender didn’t feature in the previous weekend of fixtures.
Under-18’s trio, Joel Anker,Tommy Blennerhasset and Charlie Waller were all named in Tring Athletics’ squad to face Leighton Town. All three of the young Dons currently represent Tring on work experience terms.
Leighton Town grabbed all three points in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division battle. The Athletic will look to bounce-back with the help of the young Dons.
