Scott Twine felt Saturday’s display at Plymouth Argyle was his best in an MK Dons shirt.
Twine became only the second player in Club history to score four times in one game, as the Dons ran-out 5-0 winners at Home Park.
“It was probably my best game in an MK Dons shirt,” the midfielder told iFollow MK Dons. “The result, the performance and the goals on top - it couldn't have gone any better.
“I'm happy with 20 goals, I'd have certainly taken that at the start of the season. I'm buzzing.”
On the team’s performance, Twine added: “We had a game plan, we executed it perfectly. The way we played and pressed and the way we were on the ball - it could have been even better!”
While it was not enough to secure them a top-two finish, it does send the Dons into the Sky Bet League One Play-Offs full of confidence and momentum.
Twine & Co will face Wycombe Wanderers in the Semi Finals, with the First Leg taking place this Thursday evening at Adams Park.
Looking ahead to the two-legged affair, Twine said: “Anyone in the play-offs would be difficult but it will be a tough two games.
“We’ve just got to focus on ourselves and, if play like we did today, then hopefully we'll get a good result. We're looking forward to it.”
