The young Tottenham Hotspur loanee reflected on his season at Stadium MK, and expressed his gratitude to all those who have helped him progress.
The number 20 has granted the club a total of 17 goal contributions throughout all competitions this season, as well as incredible memories, such as his spectacular equalising goal away at the Cherry Red Records stadium.
When the young forward reflected on his season with the Dons, he said this: “Thank you for everything.
“It’s a shame we couldn’t give the fans a bit more, but I’ll always remember the memories we shared.
“I wasn’t ready to end the season, I wanted another two weeks with everybody involved at the club, and I’m upset that we can’t have that, but that’s football.”
Parrott continued to share his gratitude and admiration towards his teammates and the coaching staff, who have changed the Irish international into ‘a much better player’. The former Don had this to say:
“Manning, alongside the players and the rest of the coaching staff, have helped me so much this year, I have learnt so much from all of them.
“I’ve made some friends for life, you would come into training every day with a smile on your face because you’re seeing all your mates, and that’s what we all are.
“There’s no cliques or groups, everybody in that changing room is close with one another, it’s a shame because we didn’t want the season to be over, but that’s football.”
MK Dons’ joint third top goal-scorer this season, finalised his interview with a heartfelt farewell. When questioned if he will be a Don for life, Parrott replied: “Yes 100%.
“This year has been really special and it’s something I’ll never forget, I’ll remember my time here for the rest of my life.
“I just want to say thank you to everyone involved in the club, especially the fans, who even stuck by me when I wasn’t doing too well in front of goal, I’ll always remember the memories we shared.
“The talent in the dressing room is crazy and I’ve made some friends for life, not just in the team, but throughout the whole club.
“I’ll always remember my time here, thank you for everything.”
