Following an extensive consultation process with supporters, MK Dons can confirm details regarding the 2022/23 Season Ticket campaign…

Following the Covid crisis and the organisational changes, the Club have had the opportunity to reflect and have undergo a full review of the ticket offering and matchday experience at Stadium MK.

Season Ticket holders were invited to engage in the process and actively encouraged to have their say. Those Season Ticket holders who gave up their time truly played a key role in shaping the new approach.

Speaking to mkdons.com, Chairman Pete Winkelman said: “Whilst we understand that this has resulted in increased prices and some fundamental changes, such as the removal of the Under-12s Go Free policy, we hope that supporters will recognise that there is now a logical structure for the Club’s ticket pricing model – one that has been designed to be transparent, consistent and fair.

“There has rarely been a dull moment supporting MK Dons and, as we reach our 18th year, I am excited by the direction we are now heading in and the journey we are on. Your support remains crucial and we need you in the stadium, week in week out, cheering the team on and showing the world just how proud we are of our Football Club – how proud we are to be Milton Keynes Dons.”

The new pricing structure sets out to create a transparent and logical approach for all areas within the ground at Stadium MK and has been built using the cornerstone of an entry level GA ticket price, which was benchmarked against League One clubs. The majority of the Ticket Working Group members agreed that £24 was a reasonable entry level GA ticket price.

From this base price, the Club built the GA pricing across all areas of the Stadium; Cowshed, Family Area, Community Area, East Wing, East Centre, Club Red and Directors’ Balcony. Discounts were then applied for concessions.

The Season Ticket prices have then been calculated by taking the appropriate GA standard ticket price, multiplying it by the current 23 EFL league games in a season, and then applying a 30% discount.

In order to recognise existing Season Ticket holders, particularly those who have stuck with the Club through the uncertainty of the last few years, a special 33% discount on the GAx23 calculation has been applied to 2021/22 Season Ticket holders who renew.

What's more, the Club have produced packages in the Family Area and Cowshed, providing competitive prices for our younger supporters.

The Family Area, meanwhile, has been moved to the East side in Block 7 with a new Family & Community Area taking its place for those Season Ticket holders who have been in those seats for some time but have outgrown the age bracket relevant to this area.

Supporters are still able to pay for their Season Ticket using the Club’s in-house Direct Debit Scheme and initiatives like Premier Members and Academy Supporters Draw remain too.

All existing Season Ticket holders will soon receive a brochure through the post which will detail all the information on the 2022/23 pricing. Please allow time for your letter and brochure to arrive but do contact the Box Office if you haven’t received it by Monday 21 March.
