Troy Parrott has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their international friendlies against Belgium and Lithuania.

Parrott will join up with his international side on Sunday ahead of their games which takes place on Saturday 26 and Tuesday 29 March. Ireland will face both the Euro 2020 quarter-finalists first and Lithuania at the Aviva Stadium.

This now amounts to three international call-ups for MK Dons, along with Ireland U21s’ Connor Coventry and England U20s full-back Kaine Kesler Hayden. As a result, MK Dons’ home fixture with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 26 March has been postponed.

Parrott made his senior international debut in November 2019 having progressed into the men’s team through impressive performances with the younger squads such as the U17s, U19s and U21s. The forward has appeared in 29 games across all ages for his country.
