Troy Parrott was delighted to be back amongst the goals on Tuesday evening as he helped fire MK Dons to victory over Cheltenham Town.
Parrott netted twice as the Dons made it five straight Sky Bet League One wins with a 3-1 triumph at Stadium MK and, speaking afterwards to iFollow MK Dons, the Republic of Ireland international was keen to say thanks for the support he’s received in recent weeks.
“I've had a lot of chances to score recently and it hasn't come so I'm buzzing,” he said. “Seeing how happy everyone was to see me score was overwhelming really.
“I've been getting a lot of support from the fans, the gaffer and the boys. They’ve shown so much confidence in me and I cannot ask for much more. For my confidence, it's been massive.
“Scoring is a feeling that never gets old, especially going so long without a goal. You could see what it meant to me and hopefully it continues now.”
On the win, Parrott added: “The team did well to grind out another win. We need as many points on the board as we can.

Troy Parrott and MK Dons go in search of a sixth straght victory on Saturday when they take on Wigan Athletic in a second versus third Sky Bet League One clash.
