Jack Sharp, Head of Football & Performance at MK Dons Sport and Education Trust, said: "This time of year is always difficult when making decisions on players futures. It's part of the game that is necessary to ensure the Club is always moving forward in a positive direction but I would like to thank those that are moving on for their application in a Dons shirt.

"We are really happy to retain the core group of players who would have learnt a huge amount from last season - this group of players is young and exciting, growing with the club.

"Work is well underway identifying new players to add into this squad as we look to finish as high up the table we possibly can."

Charlie Bill, MK Dons Women's Head Coach, added: "We are really happy with the group of players that we have managed to retain. They deserve full credit for the turn around in form during the second half of last season.

"It was our main priority to keep the core group of players to build upon the positive results, keeping the momentum into an exciting pre-season. Attention also now turns to recruiting new players that will enable the Club to move forwards on the pitch.

"Finally I would like to thank all the players that are moving on for their commitment and dedication to the team and wish them all the best in their future endeavours"

The Club would like to place their sincere thanks to those departing and wish them all the best for the future.

A special mention goes to Chez Albert, who has decided to retire following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season. Albert, who finished as the Dons' top goal scorer last season, leaves Stadium MK providing some fantastic moments that played a critical role in the Club staying in the league.
