MK Dons will begin the 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season away at Cambridge United.
Liam Manning’s men will travel to the Abbey Stadium on Saturday 30 July before returning home to face Sheffield Wednesday in their Stadium MK opener on Saturday 6 August. The Carabao Cup Round One is then due to take place during the week commencing 8 August.
August will also see the Dons face Port Vale (Tuesday 16th) and Accrington Stanley (Saturday 20th) at Stadium MK, as well visits to Portman Road to take on Ipswich Town (Saturday 13th) and Morecambe’s Mazuma Stadium on Saturday 27th.
September will see MK Dons make the short journey to the Kassam Stadium to face Oxford United. That match is scheduled for Saturday 17th while the return fixture at Stadium MK will take place on Saturday 11 February 2023.
MK Dons’ first encounter with Buckinghamshire rivals Wycombe Wanderers is set for Saturday 22 October at Stadium MK, with Manning’s men set to visit Adams Park on Saturday 1 April.
November has MK Dons taking on two Sky Bet League One newcomers in Derby County (Saturday 12, Stadium MK) and Barnsley (Saturday 19, Oakwell). The Emirates FA Cup Round One is scheduled to take place at the start of November too.
The Dons will be at home on Boxing Day as they are scheduled to face Forest Green Rovers at Stadium MK. They will then do battle with Peterborough United at the Weston Homes Stadium on Thursday 29 December before making the journey to Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park on New Year’s Day.
Over the Easter weekend, MK Dons face Portsmouth and Derby County. The clash with Pompey will take place on Good Friday at Stadium MK while the Rams encounter will be at Pride Park on Easter Monday.
The Dons will conclude the 2022/23 season with a trip to Burton Albion on Saturday 6 May. Their home finale will be the previous week against Barnsley on Saturday 29 April.
