Finland, who play all three of their UEFA Women’s EURO group matches at Stadium MK, have announced their squad for next month’s tournament.

Finland are in Group B alongside Denmark, Germany and Spain and will play each of their group-stage fixtures at the home of MK Dons.

Head Coach Anna Signeul has named her 23-player squad, which includes Tottenham goalkeeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela, Natalia Kuikka of the Portland Thorns and Tuija Hyyrynen, who has spent the past five seasons with Juventus.

Finland’s star player, however, is Real Sociedad striker Sanni Franssi, who enters next month’s tournament on the back of a 2021/22 season in which she hit double figures to help fire her club into the UEFA Champions League.

Finland 23-player squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Katriina Talaslahti (Fleury 91), Anna Tamminen (Hammarby), Tinja-Riikka Korpela (Tottenham).

Defenders: Elli Pikkujamsa (KIF Orebro), Tuija Hyyrynen (Juventus), Emma Koivisto (Brighton), Anna Auvinen (Sampdoria), Nora Heroum (Lazio), Natalia Kuikka (Portland Thorns), Anna Westerlund (Aland United).

Midfielders: Ria Oling (Rosengard), Olga Ahtinen (Linkoping), Emmi Alanen (Kristiandstad), Essi Sainio (HJK) Eveliina Summanen (Tottenham).

Forwards: Adelina Engman (Hammarby), Sanni Franssi (Real Sociedad), Juliette Kemppi (IFK Kalmar), Amanda Rantanen (KIF Orebro), Jutta Rantala (Vittsjo), Jenny Danielsson (AIK), Heidi Kollanen (KIF Orebro), Linda Sallstrom (Vittsjo).

Finland matches taking place at Stadium MK are:

Friday 8 July: Spain vs Finland (Group B, 5pm)
Tuesday 12 July: Denmark vs Finland (Group B, 5pm)
Saturday 16 July: Finland vs Germany (Group B, 8pm)

Denmark are set to name their UEFA Women’s EURO squad on June 16 while Germany and Spain will have to finalise their rosters by the 26 June deadline.

As well as three Group B matches, Stadium MK is also set to play host to a semi final on Wednesday 27 July.

Tickets for all four matches are still available to buy, priced from £10 for the group-stage matches and from £15 for the semi final. To purchase tickets visit www.uefa.com/womenseuro/ticketing
