When questioned about his thoughts on the first pre-season friendly, Kemp replied: “It was really enjoyable to be out there tonight, our first minutes of the season, and a good win.
“It was a different formation and We're playing with new players, so being out there on the pitch with them is important because it’s crucial that we’re adaptable next season.
“We've got some great attacking players in the squad now, when we get out there, we'll be a really good attacking force and we can score a lot of goals between us.”
The winger, scored the opener of the game. Kemp, said this about his first MK Dons goal: “It's always nice to get a goal, but the main thing was the performance. Which hopefully, we can go and build on."
Liam Manning’s men had a great start to their pre-season fixtures, with more friendlies to follow, before the opening game of the season on July 30th. When questioned about the upcoming campaign, Kemp said:
“It feels like the season is coming around even faster, we're looking forward to a few more games but as players we just want the season to start. Although training is brilliant, it doesn't compare to the games and we're all looking forward to them. It is great to be back.”
