MK Dons Under-18s players Joel Anker and Charlie Waller join AFC Rushden & Diamonds on a one-month loan.
Both Under-18s players have impressed with their consistent performances for John Bitting’s side, which allowed the pair to join Tring Athletic on work experience terms.
Whilst at Tring, Anker produced four goals in five games, which awarded the young Don with three ‘Player of the Match’ nominations during his time at the Athletic.
Waller, who had the opportunity to gain First-Team experience, played against AFC Rushden & Diamonds in a pre-season friendly at Hayden Road. The young defender trained alongside the first-team during the pre-season period and recently joined Tring Athletic alongside Anker, before their first senior loan move to the Diamonds.
Lead Professional Development Phase Head Coach John Bitting had this to say about the duo's opportunity "I’m really excited to see Joel and Charlie at AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
