MK Dons midfielder Josh McEachran spoke to the media following a goalless draw against Lincoln City at Stadium MK.
Mark Jackson has remained unbeaten in both games he’s managed at Stadium MK. Most recently, Jackson’s side were awarded a point following a 0-0 result against the Imps.
‘It was a frustrating game.’ McEachran said about the league skirmish. “We had a lot of the ball, created a couple of good chances, but it was the final ball and the last little details which let us down.
“The positive from today was that we limited them to two or three shots, they didn't create a lot. Keeping the clean sheet is a building block for us, and if we continue to build on that, we'll start picking up more points.”
The previous weekend’s result means that MK Dons remain within the relegation zone, however, they’re now two points adrift safety.
Forest Green Rovers are the Dons’ next test, followed by Shrewsbury Town and Exeter City who are also scheduled to be played within January. When asked about the upcoming fixtures throughout the rest of this month, the number six responded “It's a massive month.
“We can't keep waiting for the next game to start picking up points because time will run out. We're in a good place, the gaffer is really positive. We're not where we want to be, but I'm sure that will change.”
