Loan watch: Johnson scores again in Banbury win

Lewis Johnson scored for the second straight game to help Banbury United maintained their charge towards the Southern League Premier Central title.

Johnson, who found the net in Banbury’s victory over Redditch United, raced through on 52 minutes before cutting inside and hitting a shot across goal and into the far corner to give secure a 2-0 victory over Stourbridge.

Meanwhile, John Freeman made his debut for Chelmsford City in their 1-0 win over Bath City.

Freeman, who joined the Clarets on loan late last week, was brought on as a 74th-minute substitute and played his part in maintaining their one-goal advantage through until full-time.

Jack Davies was an unused substitute for Oxford City in their 2-0 loss to Eastbourne Borough.
