John Freeman has joined National League South side Chelmsford City on loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who has made 11 appearances for MK Dons, heads Essex to gain first-team experience and could make his Clarets debut on Saturday when they host Bath City at the Melbourne Stadium.
This is Freeman’s fifth loan spell away from Stadium MK having previously spent time on loan with Kempston Rovers, Wantage Town, St. Neots Town and Woking.
Sporting Director Liam Sweeting said: “John missed a lot of time through injury this season so this is a good opportunity for him to get back playing regularly, at a good level, and with a manager we know well in Robbie Simpson.
“He will continue to train with us during the week which will keep him part of the group. We are excited to see him back on the pitch, though, and we look forward to tracking his development.”
