Eisa: Let's bounce back

Striker looks ahead to Tuesday following Accrington draw...

10 January 2022

After a frustrating result at the weekend, Mo Eisa wants MK Dons to bounce back on Tuesday night at Stadium MK.

The Dons were held by 10-man Accrington Stanley at Wham Stadium for their second successive draw in Sky Bet League One but they have the opportunity to return to winning ways this Tuesday against AFC Wimbledon.

“When you come away from a game where you don’t win and it’s frustrating, you want to move on quickly,” Eisa said in his interview with iFollow MK Dons following Saturday’s 1-1 draw.

“We’ve just got to move on to the next game. Hopefully, on Tuesday, we can put it right, especially as, if we win, we can get back into the play-off spots.”

It was Eisa’s finish which earned MK Dons the point in Lancashire – his sixth goal of the campaign but his first since the 4-0 win over Morecambe back in November.

“My last few performances have not been good enough,” Eisa admitted. “I’ve watched the games back and I know it’s not been good enough.

“Hopefully getting the goal will give me some confidence which will be good for me, and the team, moving forwards."
